His voicemail says he will be back the first week of February. We're almost at the end of that week. As was the case for January, I can't reach him by phone, text, or email. So web board is the next step: Brad, call me!

I talked to Brad yesterday. He was hauling back a 914-6 from Texas. He should be back today.

Great, tell him to ping me back. I've only sent a message every day for a month.

Still waiting for parts?

So how far along is your car? Dave and I are ready to test our car out this month....just stop the rain and we are good to go!

What parts you still waiting for?

Thanks. No call, but I'm going to bed.

4-large, my car is now having its cage built. The tops, required for fitting the cage, took nearly two months to be delivered. I'm still missing a slew of parts from Accusump, to steering wheel + disconnect, to control arms, to shims, etc... I paid the credit card bill a month ago. headbang.gif

Jupeman,

With me Brad had an issue with QB which he has mentioned here before.
It would of been easier to just get it all at one place, with Brad, but
I needed parts ( type A smile.gif ) and he said that crediting my CC was the easiest way
(his QB seems to be a big issue???)....
I then just got parts everywhere els littler here little there....

Maybe you should do the same?

Jerry

I can't even get hold of him to talk about crediting!

(What's "QB" in this context?)

Thanks. I have had quite a few offers. It seems to me that many guys/shops know how to run a business and who to take care of - and some don't. I just need to get hold of Brad to cancel the remainder of my order or work with Amex to freeze those charges and pay me back.

What I can't understand is the complete and utter lack of communication for WEEKS! I've left voicemails on cell and work, texts to cell, emails. I've received one pathetic excuse email a few weeks back. Other than perhaps the GT3 control arms, most of what is outstanding in my order is pretty basic stuff (steering wheel, cutoff switch, accusump, etc).

At this point I cannot recommend Brad to anyone which should suck for him. I have a lot of friends in this sport and tend to be prominent in races. So much of this race support business is word of mouth, I don't know why anyone would damage a burgeoning strong customer relationship.

At this point it will take a lot to patch up my feelings on this. I am basically going to miss a race because of the parts delays without some herculean efforts to catch-up (which I am not interested in paying for). Missing a race is unacceptable to me.

I am in the same boat with many missing parts from the order I started with Brad in November. I got a call two weeks ago promising me all my parts were boxed and ready to ship. I've gotten exactly two things since then: brake rotors & the front GT3 control arms. I am also still missing simple stuff like steering wheel, hub, wheel studs, accusump, clutch, shims, etc. I've also received duplicate parts like 2 front sway bars and a 2nd X51 sump pan.

Brad, you run a great website, but the customer service for the parts business is horrid.

I drove for 3 days straight from Florida.. no calls or txt's from Charlie.. but I talked to over 50 different people along the way wavey.gif

Please feel free to call: SWIFT/WEVO/ and others who supply some of these parts. THEY don't have the springs.. WEVO doens't have tranny mounts.. I can go on and on and on with suppliers who I have BOUGHT out everything they have had.

I was hit with 9 complete orders. I "stocked" one order.. 4 of those orders came in in the month of Dec. when Porsche and 90% of the world was on vacation. I have shipped/drop shipped everything readily available.

This week the shop will get a phone and internet.

It is me and me alone. I took on too much with the Grand-Am team in Jan. with testing and the race.

Some of the parts get dropped shipped from a wholesaler and some of them come from me. I personally put shit in boxes and inspect everything except what gets dropped shipped from me. If the wholesaler sends duplicate parts.. keep them and sell them on eBay and keep the money and make sure you tell everyone duplicate parts where sent and you sold them on eBay for pure profit.

Blame the customer. Classy and classic.

I like the excuses, too. Everyone's fault but yours. How about some communication to explain what is going on? How about providing the customer with options other than sitting on his money?

Check your voicemails. Would you like me to send you a log of all texts, voicemails, and emails sent? Further, when you were driving those days there was actually a message posted here that you had been notified separately to call me from someone you'll talk to. No call to me. Send me the rest of the parts overnight or refund my money. Either way I want to be done with this transaction by Wednesday.

Your wipers didn't make it to Daytona on time. They arrived after we left and are still sitting there (sorry you spent the money) I have a flight scheduled next Tuesday and will be physically picking up a windshield and your wipers that did not make it on time.

OR: I have a set ready to send out to you. I do the best I can as ONE person handling 100's of customers and shipping worldwide. You were told that I would pay you for the wipers or ship you another set.

I'm apologize for not performing in a more timely fashion.

Please provide me with a Paypal address so I can pay for the shipping immediately.

Funny part? This thread (that I have left in place) has generated more sales and more people wanting to help laugh.gif

WTF.gif You know brad you make this sound like it was my fault that you have not returned any messages for over three weeks... my fault that I over nighted you my wipers for a Sat. delivery at my expense over a month ago after your pleading on line for assistance.. my fault that they arrived on Sat. (next day)as needed but you could not take the time to pick them up from UPS on that day or even Monday before you left ... my fault that you did not make arrangements with whoever has them in Florida for their return to me .. my fault you have made no attempt to reach out to me to reimburse for my expense and return my property that I loaned to you..

Brad just do the right thing and make it happen .....now please
